Sonja has worked in the real estate industry for over 20 years. Before joining Compass as an agent, Sonja worked as a Certified Residential Appraiser specializing in high end valuations. Therefore, she has extensive knowledge of land and residential values in the NJ market. She is a proud team member of the Courtney Orlando Group.
 
Growing up as a military dependent, Sonja lived all over the country and knows the ins and outs of frequent moving all too well. This, in combination with the network of Compass, Sonja's nationwide referral base is immense. Of all the places she could live, she chose New Jersey as her home. She graduated from Rutgers University with a double major in Criminal Justice and Urban & Regional Planning. Real Estate is the perfect combination of the two fields for her - investigating the housing market to find her client's perfect home, and effectively following the process to manage deadlines along the way. Not to mention, she does it all with a positive and fun-loving attitude.

Sonja and her husband reside in Somerset county and have 2 sons. While she is a year-round wrestling mom, in her free time, she is also involved in various non-profit organizations and serves on her local municipality's Planning Board
